Who We Are

A community-rooted foundation turning care into practical pathways for dignity and resilience.

Charivive Development Foundation exists to walk closely with communities, respond to real needs, and build long-term systems of empowerment through skills, savings, nutrition, education, water access, and local partnership.

Who We Are

A community foundation shaped by dignity, practical action, and long-term follow-through.

Community Rooted

We stay close to the realities families are already carrying.

Charivive was born in Kitagwenda after seeing that poverty, unsafe water, school drop-out, and limited opportunity were not permanent conditions. They were gaps in support systems that needed practical response.

Practical Empowerment

We turn compassion into real structures people can build with.

Our work brings together savings groups, skilling, nutrition learning, agriculture, education support, and water-focused action so communities can move toward stability, self-reliance, and stronger local systems.

Accountable Service

We measure trust by what we sustain, not what we announce.

Charivive is building a model rooted in listening, local ownership, and dependable follow-up so communities can rely on what we begin together.

What Shapes Our Work

We build around the burdens communities are already trying to carry alone.

What We Saw

Families had strength, but not the support systems to move forward.

Children were leaving school, women lacked economic opportunity, youth lacked pathways, and villages were still carrying unsafe water, food insecurity, and preventable hardship.

What We Built

An integrated model that treats community challenges as connected.

Charivive brings together women empowerment, youth opportunity, nutrition, sustainable agriculture, education support, and water access in one practical community-led path.

What Continues

A long-term commitment to dignity, trust, and follow-through.

Our work continues to grow through savings groups, skills building, community events, and local partnerships that can last beyond short-term intervention.

How We Work

Our approach begins with listening, grows through trust, and becomes practical community ownership.

Listen First

Ubuntu connection comes before program delivery.

We begin by listening, gathering people, and building trust through community connection spaces that make local priorities visible.

Organize Together

Women and families build systems they can sustain.

Savings groups, practical skilling, and shared support structures help communities create stronger foundations for stability and progress.

Equip And Follow Through

Skills become long-term resilience when we stay present.

From nutrition events to sustainable agriculture and youth skilling, we back practical action with continued field follow-up and local accountability.

Where We Are Going

Our vision is an Ubuntu Women's and Youth Skilling Hub where hope, skills, and opportunity live in one place.

We are building toward a permanent center where women and youth can access practical training, nutrition support, counseling, demonstration farming knowledge, and pathways for long-term self-reliance.
